Fonghuang Shan Temple
Located in Miaokou Lane, Fonghuang Village, Luku Township, Nantou County, Fonghuang Shan Temple sits at the base of Mt. Fonghuang Shan. People visiting the temple can enjoy the magnificent view of high mountains and famous Fonghuang Waterfall. The temple is surrounded by Mt. Fonghuang Shan, Sianjin Highland and Mt. Baishihya to its right and Mt. Hengpingtou, Mt. Dongding and Mt. Kylin to its left. It is the religious center as well as a community center for local residents. Bamboo forests, tea gardens, dense forests along with the surrounding mist give an illusion that one has come to a fairyland. This place produces high-quality oolong tea, bamboo shoots and dried bamboo shoots.
