National Museum of Natural Science

Hibiscus is an evergreen shrub or small tree of the genus Hibiscus in the Malvaceae family. From the development of the early hibiscus varieties to the present, there are as many as 24,612 varieties registered internationally. There are also breeders in Taiwan who continue to cultivate new varieties for commercial sale or Fun exchange. This exhibition cooperates with the three major potted flower manufacturers in Puli – Young-sun Horticulture Co., Ltd., Yongsong Horticulture Co., Ltd. and Good Horticulture Co., Ltd. The industry provides high-quality potted flowers for exhibition, and the botanical garden of the museum performs the layout, popular science content writing and panel production. Through this Flower Show, we continue to promote the concept of plant variety protection.
